Fractional CMO, MRK Beauty – 2020 – now

MRK Beauty is a B2B distribution company in the professional beauty industry. They have exclusive rights to distribution for several global brands, including z.one concept (milk_shake hair and NO INHIBITION), Biotop, Oligo Professionnel, ReDavid, and more. They sell products to licensed beauty professionals in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

They initially contacted me as a result of a referral from NW Stylist Magazines, a publication for which I have written in the past on salon marketing topics (example article). Though they were looking for help with social media, as we discussed their digital marketing needs we found that they really needed a fractional CMO who could take on their digital marketing and provide occasional graphic design support as well.

I redesigned and built a new website for MRK Beauty in about 6 weeks, drawing on my previous experience in two roles as marketing director and as fractional CMO for two other beauty distribution companies.

Web Design/Dev, Rainier View Rooter – 2019 – now

Rainier View Rooter is a locally-owned and operated plumbing company. They were referred to us as by a former colleague of mine from Soundbuilt Homes, who had taken a new job with Rainier View Rooter.

Rainier View Rooter’s owner wanted their website to have a very specific industrial vibe and features. I was able to build and publish the new Rainier View Rooter website over the course of about 6 weeks, and continue to provide occasionally maintenance to the site as requested. The website quickly began ranking for important search terms and continues to produce leads on a regular basis.

Web Design/Dev, Honesty Electrical Services – 2019

Honesty Electrical Services is a locally owned and operated company whose owner lives in close proximity to our home-based marketing agency’s HQ. He had just broken ties with a former partner over some pretty serious disagreements, and had to quickly and completely rebuild his company’s online web presence.

After discovering us through social media, we were hired to design his new logo, design and build his website, and build out Google My Business and Yelp profiles as quickly as possible.

In just a few weeks, the new Honesty Electrical Services project was complete. He was already generating new business and getting positive reviews to bolster his online reputation – he was thrilled!

253 Payment Pros is a B2B financing company specializing in payment processing services, payment processing equipment and software, payment processing loyalty marketing systems, and merchant cash advances (which are generally repaid using payment processing systems).

The company’s CEO had formerly established and built a similar company in another state that had become attractive as an acquisition and was sold off. With his expertise in this field, he wanted to quickly launch a new company that offered the same types of services after moving to the Pacific NW.

Having a business website that could generate leads and build trust with business owners was essential. He contacted the local Chamber of Commerce, who referred him to our agency. The 253 Payment Pros website quickly began to rank for important search terms and continues to produce leads.
